The Trade Journal of BookingsVolume I · Issue 01

Booking software
that fits your business
— not the other way around.

For service businesses where the appointment is the product. Configure it once, then your customers book in thirty seconds — on any phone, with your brand, on your own subdomain.

No. 01On the matter of fit

A platform that bends.

Most booking software was built for one industry and pretends to serve the rest. Calendars assume haircuts. Pricing assumes a single rate. Forms assume cars.

Splendid Booking was built generically from day one. Configurable intake fields, optional pricing tiers, mobile or fixed location, per-staff pricing and policies, white-label airtight. It is the platform you would build yourself — only you do not have to.

No. 02A roster of trades served

Built for whoever you serve.

Configure the intake fields, pricing, and services to match how you actually work — not how someone in a software office imagined you do.

No. 03Features rendered honestly

The parts that matter.

The stuff competitors gloss over and your day actually depends on. Built because we use this ourselves.

§ 1

Per-stylist pricing

Master cuts $60. Apprentice cuts $40. Same service, different prices. The customer sees their stylist's price before they book.

No awkward conversation at the chair, no after-the-fact upcharge.

§ 2

Per-stylist deposit policies

The hair braider takes a deposit. The barber does not. Same shop, same booking page, two correct outcomes.

Salons with mixed policies have always had a workaround problem. They do not anymore.

§ 3

One-click rebook

Your repeat customers book their usual in one tap. Cart pre-filled, provider pre-selected, contact info already there. They pick a date — that is all.

Six clicks down to two. Across thousands of bookings, that compounds.

§ 4

Provider calendar sync

Each provider gets a private URL they paste into Google or Apple Calendar. New bookings appear on their phone — automatically.

Staff stop asking the owner "what's my Tuesday?" They look.

§ 5

Reminders, sent like clockwork

Day-before reminders to your customer. A 6 AM digest of today's roster to you. Maintenance follow-ups three, six, twelve months out. Branded with your name — written without your time.

The no-show rate falls off a cliff after the first week.

§ 6

Flat fee. Any team size.

Whether you book solo or your roster has fifteen stylists, you pay one number. No per-seat charges, no per-booking transaction fees, no surprise upgrades when you add a stylist.

The rest of the industry charges per chair. We do not.

Frequently asked.

Q.01How is this different from Booksy, Fresha, or Square Appointments?+
The big stuff: per-stylist pricing (Booksy fakes it with separate services; we do it right), per-stylist deposit policies (no competitor handles a salon where some staff take deposits and some do not), no per-booking fees ever, and your brand is yours — no app-store directory we control. White-label airtight: your customers never see "Splendid Booking" anywhere.
Q.02Do you take a cut of my bookings?+
No. Flat plan, no transaction fees. When billing turns on after early access, you will see one monthly number, not a percentage of your revenue.
Q.03Can I migrate from my current platform?+
Yes — manually, for now. Your existing customer data, services, and pricing can be entered through admin. We will help your first 5–10 tenants do it personally so we learn what to automate next.
Q.04Do you handle payments?+
For deposits: you collect via whatever you already use — Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, Stripe. We surface the amount and your instructions at booking; you mark received in admin. Full Stripe Connect integration for card-on-file deposits is coming next.
Q.05Will my customers know I'm using Splendid Booking?+
No. Your subdomain (yourname.splendidbooking.com), your brand color, your logo, your name in confirmation emails. The customer-facing surfaces are 100% yours.
Q.06What if I don't see my industry in the list?+
The platform is built generically — pick "Other" at signup, configure your services and intake questions yourself, and you are live. We have seen mobile bike repair, in-home tutoring, photography sessions, and more shipping on it.
Q.07What about my customer data — who owns it?+
You do. Anytime you want it, hit "Export" in admin and you receive a ZIP with everything: customers, bookings, services, the works. No lock-in, no ransom.

Take the boring out of booking.

Free during early access. No credit card. Twenty minutes from now you will have a live booking page.
